Web sites for work and play
I like my working life to be a mix of intellectual, physical and spiritual challenges. Here are links to companies and organisations I'm involved with that offer me one some or all of these things.

Adventure West
Since 1993 I've worked with this unique human resource development company, on jobs as varied as training the RAAF's top outdoor trainers, to guiding scientists on tropical glaciers in Irian Jaya, to facilitating a radical cultural change at a North Queensland coal mine.

Aurora Expeditions
When I joined Greg Mortimer and Margaret Werner and a few other friends on an audacious mountaineering expedition to Antarctica in 1988, Greg was already pondering the concept of Antarctic tourism. Today Greg and Margaret are leaders not only in this field, but also in adventurous voyages to remotest parts of the world — the Arctic, the Amazon and the Kimberley Coast of Australia.

Australian Himalayan Foundation

"Putting something back" is the motto of this new foundation, dedicated to improving the lives and environments of Himalayan countries by assisting the local people to achieve their dreams. I am proud to be one of the Directors of the Board. Enter the site to find out who the others are, the exciting projects we have happening, and how you can play your part by becoming a member.
