The Ice-capped Jungle
Irian Jaya, or West Papua, is one of the last great wilderness areas of the world. It has the contradction of tropical ice - glaciated mountains 3 degrees South of the Equator. Among these is Carstensz Pyramid, the highest peak between the Andes, Africa and the Himalaya
