Surviving Everest 2006
"I imagine you are surprised to see me here." These are the first words I uttered to the four person team who came across me early in the morning, sitting on a narrow precarious ridge at 8600m, after I had spent the night out alone with only the clothes I wore. Here are some photos from that eventful expedition.

East Rongbuk Glacier halfway camp at 5800m
It was a hike of 22km from Base Camp to Advance Base. On the way up to the valley we overnighted at Intemediate Camp, but on the way back to Base we covered the whole distance in a day.
