The Himalayan cycle continues – winter, pre-monsoon climbing season, monsoon, post-monsoon climbing season, and winter again. Meanwhile, DEAD LUCKY continues to sell well in Australia, and I am beginning my extensive North American publicity tour with New York-based Tarcher/Penguin (click Book Tour button).

The next two months culminated in me standing on the summit, only to be declared dead after I passed out from cerebral oedema at 8600m (28,000ft). Obviously, I found a way to survive those impossible circumstances, and managed to finish the book of the whole experience one year later – almost to the day.

Barely a week passes without a query for an interview or a public speaking request. And although I have given many corporate presentations, almost every time I am able to share an extra insight into my life-changing experience.
